NBKIDS! THIS IS WHAT WE DO!

NBKIDS is excited about having the opportunity to minister
to children ages 6 weeks - 5th grade.

The Children's Ministry at New Beginnings Church exists to introduce children to Jesus Christ, develop a relationship with Him, disciple children to live a life that reflects the love of Christ, and to learn how to share their relationship with Christ to others. In short, our purpose is to raise up children to know Christ, grown in Christ, and live like Christ: To Reach Up. Reach In. Reach Out.

11/24 SUNDAY LESSON

NBKIDS parents be sure to join us this Sunday for service. This Sunday in NBKIDS at 9 and 11 we will be talking about Matthew 25:31-46 The sheep and the Goats. Please make sure you talk to your kids about it afterwards! Make sure your kids attend!

New Beginnings Church ABQ 4770 Montgomery Blvd ABQ NM 87109. Below is some info on what we went over and the short video we watched to accompany our lesson. Watch with your kids and partner with us to teach your kids the Bible!

IN THE CAR: Ask your child what they learned about this week on the drive home: Serving other people isn’t always the easiest or most comfortable thing to do. But when we deny ourselves and go the extra mile, we serve not only other people but Jesus as well. Matthew 25:31-46, The Sheep and the Goats

HANGING OUT: Collect some old clothes, coats, shoes, canned goods, or other items around the house that can be donated, and take the kids with you to make the donation. If possible, put in some volunteer time helping people as well.

AT DINNER: Here are some great discussion starters:
- What was the difference between the sheep and the goats in the parable Jesus taught?
- How did the sheep serve Jesus by serving others?
- What can we do to serve others not just this week, but every day?

AT BEDTIME: Quiz your child on this week’s memory verse: “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.’” - Matthew 16:24 (NIV)

PARENT TIME: What you need to know: Our prayer through this series is for everyone to refocus on what matters most. As the acronym JOY has reminded us every week, we need to put Jesus First, Others Second, and Yourself Third. Ask God to help you and your kids to focus less on self and selfies and more on loving God and loving others.

NBKIDS parents this evening we will have service at 7 PM. New Beginnings Church ABQ 4770 Montgomery Blvd Abq NM 87110. We only watch a small part of this video, if your kids want to watch the whole thing go ahead and share it with them!
During this series, kids will learn that God can help them change the way they think. He wants to help them catch, check, and change their thoughts! We’re going to take our creativity to the extreme to learn how to change the way we think!
